Philippines Stall at the Cabra Fete
From the Cabra Fete, Sunday 19th October. The pilgrims sold most of the stock that we had purchased in the Philippines, raising over $700 for the Smokey Mountain community and St Martin’s Foundation.
Philippines Pilgrimage 2008
St Joseph’s Dominican Orphanage.
The students and teachers from Cabra, Sisters from Siena and staff from UST (University of Saint Thomas (Aquinas)) in front of the Arch of the Centuries, the original entrance to the University when it was still in Intramuros, rebuilt in the current site, around 400 years old.
On the cable car in Tagaytay.
Hospicio de San Jose.
Smokey Mountain – the mountain made from rubbish. It is still vaguely visible that the mountain face is made of plastic bags and other waste. The tricycles in the front are on “reclaimed land” built on top of rubbish after most of the mountain was graded and squished down.
Science Week Fun!

The year 11 Chemistry classes loved the “Dragon’s breath” demo showing flame colours.
